Description
The blade is worked like a machined part: brass and gold across the body, a row of ribs along the spine that reads as cooling fins, an eye-shaped emblem on the guard plate and only a narrow strip of bare steel left at the edge. The ring is copper brown and the grip is ribbed to match the spine. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia, its curved blade following the line of a tiger claw, with a ring at the butt of the handle for the finger.
The view model holds 3,939 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, under twenty-eight textures. Three are hand maps at the stock sizes, 252×123, 124×126 and 252×255, under the porter’s file names; the rest are separate pieces of the knife, from a 108×518 sliver to a 712×120 band. There is no chrome map, so the metallic look comes from the painting alone. The idle runs 268 frames and the draw 29. What other players see was rebuilt too, at 1,975 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, and the nine knife sounds ship with the archive. There is no dropped-knife model, so on the ground it stays standard.
