Description
A three-headed dog in profile, all three muzzles bared and pointing to the right, its body stretched wide across the frame. The painting is teal and dark green with acid-yellow highlights that also drip off the lower edge, and the pixels are large enough to read as brush marks. The background is transparent, so the beast lands on the wall on its own. Cerberus is the dog that guards the underworld in Greek myth.
The file is a wad3 tempdecal.wad, 80x80 pixels. One pixel is a unit on the wall and a CS 1.6 player is 72 units tall, so the frame is about player height, though the dog fills only its middle band. The palette runs to 242 of 256 colours for the green shading, and 62.2% of the frame is transparent, which is why the shape reads as a silhouette rather than a square. At 9,356 bytes it stays under the 16 KB tempdecal limit. Two internet shortcut files were packed beside it in the archive.
How to install the spray
- Download the file and rename it to tempdecal.wad (keep the extension).
- Copy it into the cstrike folder of your game (…/Half-Life/cstrike), replacing the existing file.
- Set the file to read-only — otherwise the game overwrites it when you touch the logo settings.
- In game, press T (the spray key) to paint it on any wall.
The options menu shows the logo in one color — in the game itself the spray keeps all its colors.
