Fade runs a gradient down the blade: yellow at the guard, pink through the middle, violet by the point. The M9 Bayonet is the fighting knife the US Army adopted in 1986, built to clip onto a rifle and to cut wire together with its scabbard.

The view model holds 2,112 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones and thirteen textures. The blade is unwrapped onto two tall maps of 200×989 and 204×1001, a narrow 68×800 strip goes to the handle band, and the hands keep the stock 252×123 and 124×126 textures. The third-person knife carries 10,125 polygons against the stock 112 on one 512×512 map. The idle runs 360 frames with an inspect in it. There is no dropped-knife model in the archive, so on the ground the knife stays standard.
