Damascus Steel leaves the blade bare metal and covers it in the wavy banding of a forge-welded billet, light and dark lines running the length of the edge and bending around the fuller. The M9 Bayonet is the fighting knife the US Army adopted in 1986, built to clip onto a rifle and to cut wire together with its scabbard.

The view model holds 25,308 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones and five textures. Three of those are 512×512 maps for the forearm, the glove and the fingers, and one is a 64×64 chrome map, the trick GoldSrc uses to put a mirrored sheen on metal. The idle runs 251 frames with an inspect in it. The archive ships the view model alone, so in other players’ hands and on the ground the knife stays standard.
