Description
Grey and black split the knife between them: the hooked blade is black along the spine and grey below it, with chevrons and small stencilled markings near its base, while the finger ring and the inlay at the guard are turquoise rather than the orange the name would suggest. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia, the curve of the blade follows the line of a tiger’s claw, and the ring in the handle takes the index finger.
The view model holds 3,939 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 40 bones, and twenty-eight textures split the surface: twenty-five pieces of the knife plus the stock hand maps at their game sizes under new file names. Among the pieces are 712×120 and 700×119 strips for the rim of the guard and a pair of maps at 416×400 and 412×402 for the two sides of the ring. There is no chrome map. The idle runs 268 frames, the draw 29 and every attack 35. What other players see was rebuilt at 13,938 polygons where the stock third-person knife has 112, all of it on a single 512×512 texture, and nine knife sounds are in the archive. Nothing replaces the dropped knife, so on the ground it stays standard.
