Description
A portrait of Jiraiya from Naruto sitting inside a thick black ring that looks like a sticker, with paint running off its lower edge. The hermit is drawn waist up: white spiky mane down past his shoulders, forehead protector with horns, red haori over a grey mesh shirt, and an olive-gold wash behind him. Everything outside the ring is transparent, so only the round badge lands on the wall.
The archive holds a ready tempdecal.wad in wad3 format, 80x80 pixels. A pixel of a spray equals a unit of wall, and a player in CS 1.6 stands 72 units tall, so this badge is a little taller than the person spraying it. The image occupies 232 palette slots out of 256 and keeps 39.7% of the frame transparent. The file weighs 9,356 bytes, well under the 16 KB that tempdecal.wad accepts. Two internet shortcuts were also packed alongside it.
How to install the spray
- Download the file and rename it to tempdecal.wad (keep the extension).
- Copy it into the cstrike folder of your game (…/Half-Life/cstrike), replacing the existing file.
- Set the file to read-only — otherwise the game overwrites it when you touch the logo settings.
- In game, press T (the spray key) to paint it on any wall.
The options menu shows the logo in one color — in the game itself the spray keeps all its colors.
