Description
A heart traced with a white spray can: a thick uneven outline, paint running down from the lower tip, and a charcoal fill streaked with brush marks. The background is not transparent, so the wall gets a solid black square with the heart sitting in the middle of it.
The page carried a raw 8-bit logo rather than a ready wad, so the wad3 was packed at import. The image is 64×64 pixels, and since one pixel equals one unit on the wall, the square comes out a little shorter than a player, who stands 72 units tall. 227 palette slots out of 256 are in use, nothing is transparent, and the 6,296-byte file stays well under the 16 KB ceiling a server accepts for a player logo.
How to install the spray
- Download the file and rename it to tempdecal.wad (keep the extension).
- Copy it into the cstrike folder of your game (…/Half-Life/cstrike), replacing the existing file.
- Set the file to read-only — otherwise the game overwrites it when you touch the logo settings.
- In game, press T (the spray key) to paint it on any wall.
The options menu shows the logo in one color — in the game itself the spray keeps all its colors.
