Description
The round emblem of ENCE, the Finnish esports organisation: a golden mask-like face with goggles over crossed arms, set on a dark disc with a deep red ring and a gold rim. The four letters of the name are spaced around the top of the circle, and a white halo runs along the outer edge. Flat vector shapes, only three colours doing the work: gold, dark red and near-black. The background outside the circle is transparent, so the emblem lands on the wall as a disc.
Format wad3, 80×80 pixels. A pixel of the spray equals one unit on the wall, and a CS 1.6 player is 72 units tall, so the emblem is a bit taller than a player. The palette needs only 96 of the 256 entries, which is what a flat vector logo costs compared with a photographic image. About 23.9% of the frame is transparent, the corners around the disc. The file weighs 9,356 bytes and fits the 16 KB tempdecal limit at which a server accepts the image as a player logo. Two internet shortcut files were in the archive as well.
How to install the spray
- Download the file and rename it to tempdecal.wad (keep the extension).
- Copy it into the cstrike folder of your game (…/Half-Life/cstrike), replacing the existing file.
- Set the file to read-only — otherwise the game overwrites it when you touch the logo settings.
- In game, press T (the spray key) to paint it on any wall.
The options menu shows the logo in one color — in the game itself the spray keeps all its colors.
