Description
Case Hardened shows the blue and gold marbling that case hardening leaves on steel, falling differently on the blade, the guard and the ring. The karambit is held by that ring at the end of the handle, and the curve of its blade follows a tiger claw; the shape comes from Southeast Asia.
The view model holds 3,939 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, which is light for a port of this kind, because the detail sits in the textures instead: there are 28 of them, with the blade alone unwrapped onto six maps. The hands are left on the stock 252×123, 124×126 and 252×255 textures. The idle runs 268 frames with an inspect in it. The archive ships the view model alone, so in other players’ hands and on the ground the knife stays standard.
