Description
Autotronic darkens the blade and lays circuit-board tracks over it, with the ring and the scales in the same near-black. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia: the blade curves along the line of a tiger claw and the handle ends in a ring for the finger.
The view model holds 20,106 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, and the model other players see holds 1,975 against the stock 112. It carries 28 textures because the knife is unwrapped part by part, the blade alone taking six maps. Among them is a 64×64 chrome map, the trick GoldSrc uses to put a mirrored sheen on metal, plus a 340×519 map for the arm and a 544×547 one for the gloves. The idle runs 268 frames with an inspect in it, and nine knife sounds are replaced as well. There is no dropped-knife model in the archive, so on the ground the knife stays standard.
