Description
The name promises flames, but what is on the model is one flat coat of bright red over the blade, the guard and the ring, with almost no shading, so the knife reads as a silhouette rather than as painted metal. The gloves are red with a black leather panel across the back of the hand. The karambit comes from Southeast Asia, and the ring in the handle takes the index finger.
The view model holds 25,822 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 38 bones, under five 512×512 textures: the arm, the glove, the fingers, the knife, and a separate silver map for the metal. The idle runs 318 frames, the draw 24 and the stab 29. The archive holds the view model alone, so in other players’ hands and on the ground the knife stays standard.
