Black from tang to point: the finish is so dark that the blue it is named for never surfaces, and the only relief is a cold grey sheen along the spine and a few highlights on the pivots. The handle halves are black as well, and the knife is a balisong, the Philippine folding knife whose two halves swing around the tang and close over the blade.

The view model holds 24,592 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 53 bones, under five textures: the three stock hand maps, one 512×512 file that carries the whole knife and still bears the file name of a different finish, and a 64×64 map at the size GoldSrc uses for the mirrored chrome sheen on metal. The idle runs 322 frames, the draw 32 and each stab 38. Eleven knife sounds come with the archive, and nothing else does, so in other players’ hands and on the ground the knife stays standard.
