Description

Dark red handles and blade with a black spiderweb laid over them; the strands are thin and uneven, and they break off where the pattern runs past the edge of a part. A balisong is a Philippine folding knife: the two halves of the handle turn around the tang and close over the blade.

The view model holds 24,592 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 53 bones, most of which go to the two moving halves. Of its five textures, one 512×512 map covers the knife and one is a 64×64 square used as a chrome map, the trick GoldSrc uses to put a mirrored sheen on metal; the rest are the stock first-person hands. The idle runs 322 frames with an inspect worked into it, and the draw takes 32. The archive ships the view model alone, so in other players’ hands and on the ground the knife stays standard.
