Asiimov usually comes in white, orange and black; here the orange is swapped for red, with a white panel edged in black across the middle of the blade and red at both the base and the point. Small chevrons are printed near the tang. The knife is a balisong, the Philippine folding knife whose two handle halves swing around the tang and close over the blade.

The view model holds 24,592 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 53 bones, a good share of them going into the two swinging halves. Five textures cover it: three stock hand maps, a 64×64 file named lol.bmp at the size GoldSrc uses for a chrome sheen, and the knife itself on a 512×512 image still called knife_butterfly_crimsonweb.bmp, a name left over from another finish. The idle runs 322 frames and the draw 32. The archive holds the view model alone, so in other players’ hands and on the ground the knife stays standard.
