Description
A worn black and olive light machine gun with a slab-sided receiver, a folding ring front sight and an aperture rear sight on the top rail. The belt is unusual: the rounds sit in blue polymer cases instead of brass. The ammo box is olive drab with a number scrawled on the side, and there is faded blue lettering on the receiver. The hand wears a black glove above a mottled pale sleeve.
View model at 9664 polygons against 1362 on the stock first-person M249, on 76 bones and five textures: 512×512 sheets for the body, the ammo box, the hands and the sleeve, plus a 256×32 strip for the round counter. Reload is the long piece at 250 frames, the draw runs 52, and both firing takes are 12. Only the first-person model is in the archive, so the player and world models stay stock. Nine sounds cover the bolt, the box going in and out, the belt, the feed cover and the draw.
