The view model holds 23,585 polygons against the stock knife’s 1,040, on 20 bones, with four 512×512 textures: the knife itself and separate maps for the arm, the fingers and the glove. There is no chrome map, so the shine on the blade is painted rather than reflected. The idle runs 175 frames with an inspect in it. The archive ships the view model alone, so in other players’ hands and on the ground the knife stays standard.
