Description
A surf course that changes scenery from stage to stage. One frame stands in front of a concrete dam whose spillway drops into blue water between snowy peaks, another follows a sandstone canyon with a central ridge and trees growing on the ledges, a third goes into a grey concrete hall lit by wall strips with a tree left in the middle of it, and a fourth shows a brick chamber whose floor is lava with two side platforms above it. A sunlit section with palms and climbing plants closes the set. The daylight frames sit under a mountain sky, and only the interior stages are dark.
The map is 7040 × 7168 × 7232 units, a cube rather than a floor plan, and it is heavily built for a surf map: 12,033 faces with 62 textures embedded in the .bsp, roughly twice the geometry of de_dust2 at 5,383 faces. All 32 spawns are counter-terrorist, and buy zones are automatic, which means the map defines none and the engine puts them at the spawns. Thirty-seven teleports link the stages and send a fallen player back, seven water volumes catch the drops, and there is exactly one door and one ladder in the whole map. The archive installs eight models and three sets of ten digit sprites for a timer, on top of the map itself.
