Description
A narrow strip of fenced yards seen from above: timber houses with red tile roofs, plank walls and dark windows, patches of lawn between them, trees, crates and benches in the gaps, and open sea painted on the sky all around. One frame goes inside a house, where the walls, floor and ceiling are all boards, a stove stands in the corner and a plank staircase climbs to the upper storey. Another drops under the yards into a concrete drain, almost black, with metal grating over standing water. Everything above ground is bright daylight.
The footprint is unusual: 2560 × 800 × 936 map units, a single row of plots rather than a block, and 936 units of height covers houses on two floors plus the drain below. The geometry is 4,986 faces and 81 textures, all of them embedded in the .bsp, so the archive is just the map file; de_dust2 uses 5,383 faces and 44 textures, so this is a comparable build in a fraction of the area. Fifty-two spawn points per side is far more than any standard map carries and lets a very large server fill up. There are no bomb sites, hostages or rescue zones, and no buy zones, so the engine places them at the spawns. Thirty-two breakable objects give the yards and houses something to shoot apart, six ladders and one water brush do the rest.
