Description
A city block at dusk. Red brick warehouses with tall factory windows stand along the street, concrete apartment slabs and a glass office tower rise behind them, and a steel water tank sits on one of the roofs. The playable ground is asphalt with painted lane markings, kerbs and pavements, a sunken back yard behind a low wall, and a service alley with parked cars, wheelie bins and graffiti sprayed over the plaster. Bare leafless trees grow out of the pavement. Two shots look down on the street from an upper level, one of them onto a whole corner building with shopfronts lit along its base; the other two stand at ground level, one across the alley with wall ladders to either side, one facing the walled back yard with a car parked at the far end. The sunset sky box keeps the light low and orange over the rooftops.
The map measures 4452 × 5030 × 2336 units, wider than de_dust2 (4864 × 5600 × 960) in no dimension but more than twice as tall. The spawns are uneven: 11 for the counter-terrorists against 17 for the terrorists, 28 players in all, with buy zones marked for both teams. No bomb sites, no hostages. The floor carries six AK-47s and six M4A1s, a pair each of the AUG, SG 552, P90, TMP, MAC-10, M249, G3SG1, XM1014, M3 and Scout, a single AWP, two flashbangs and two HE grenades, plus three sets of body armour, two of them with a helmet. Geometry comes to 3,267 faces and 81 textures, all 81 packed into the .bsp, so the map travels with its own texture set; de_dust2 uses 44 textures. There is no water. Three ladder brushes and two breakable objects are what the player can act on, and 31 sprite entities carry the detailing. Besides the map the archive installs 19 models and one more file in the maps folder.
