Description
A small desert fort built from the dust texture set, in bright daylight. Sandstone block walls with carved cornices enclose a yard of packed sand and cobbled ramps; short flights of steps lead up to arched doorways, wooden crates stand along the walls, and green ammunition boxes are stacked on a ledge. Brown rocky peaks and white cloud rise behind the walls. One shot takes the yard from the ramp, another the raised platform with the green boxes, a third the stairs against a long stone wall, and the fourth goes under a roof of camouflage netting where crates are piled in a corner. The materials are the ones from de_dust2, but the layout is its own compact arena rather than a copy of it.
The map measures 2336 × 4304 × 992 units, long and narrow, less than half of de_dust2 in area (4864 × 5600 × 960). Sixteen spawns per side seat 32 players. There are no bomb sites and no hostages, and buy zones are marked for both teams. The weapons on the ground are the whole economy: 5 G3SG1, 4 AUG, 3 SG 552, 3 HE grenades, 2 AWP, 2 M4A1, 2 AK-47, 2 Scout, 2 flashbangs, an M249, an XM1014 and a set of kevlar with helmet. Geometry is 3,910 faces and 34 textures, of which 5 are packed into the .bsp and the rest come from halflife.wad and cs_dust.wad; de_dust2 runs to 5,383 faces. The sky is the des set. The map holds 16 breakable objects, three ladder brushes and two teleport triggers. The archive contains the .bsp alone.
