Description
A sandstone town in the dust manner: block walls topped with a carved cornice band, arched gateways, cobbled lanes that run out into packed sand. One shot stands in a walled courtyard in front of a market awning with crates of fruit under it; another looks down into a sunken yard with wooden crates against the walls; a third goes underground into a cellar of low concrete ceilings, stacked barrels and a single hanging lamp; a fourth follows an open sand corridor along the outer wall. The sky is flushed pink and orange and the sun sits low, throwing long shadows across the sand.
The map measures 4320 × 4608 × 608 units, wide but low: de_dust2 covers 4864 × 5600 × 960. 17 counter-terrorist and 17 terrorist spawns seat 34 players. There is one bomb site and no hostages, and the map has no buy zones of its own, so the engine places them at the spawns. Geometry comes to 5,440 faces and 57 textures, none of them packed into the .bsp, which puts it beside de_dust2 (5,383 faces, 44 textures) in polygon count and above it in textures. No water. The parser found no doors, ladders or breakable objects worth listing, so the layout carries the map on its own. Besides the .bsp the archive brings further files in its maps folder.
