Description
Two enclosed courtyards of an old city block. One is faced in pale plaster over stone: tall arched windows in four storeys, stucco panels over the doorways, a carved head set above an archway that leads through the building into the next yard, and cast-iron balcony railings along the ground floor. The roofs above are sheet copper gone green. The second yard is red brick and much plainer, with a green steel fire-escape ladder climbing to a top-floor window and washing lines strung between the walls. The ground is cracked asphalt; a bomb-site ring is painted on it, a red hatchback and a marked police car stand near the archway, and a third shot shows a low vaulted passage running under the houses. Clear daylight, thin cloud.
The map measures 3536 × 4224 × 800 units: a smaller footprint than de_dust2 (4864 × 5600 × 960) and far lower, since the yards are boxed in by four-storey walls. Ten counter-terrorist and ten terrorist spawns seat 20 players. Two bomb sites, no hostages, and the map marks buy zones for both teams. Geometry comes to 6,016 faces and 106 textures, every one of them packed into the .bsp, which puts it above de_dust2 on both counts (5,383 faces, 44 textures). The sky is a custom set named dvor; there is no water. What the player touches: five ladder brushes, three breakable objects, two moving brush entities and four non-solid pieces used for detailing. Besides the .bsp the archive carries a radar overview.
