Description
The first map Barney designed for the Cyber Athlete Professional League: an industrial mill under the trainyard skybox, laid out symmetrically enough that neither team gets a structural edge. Ten spawns per side, two bomb sites, wind in the background and a lone chicken model as the easter egg.
Built for tournament play rather than public servers: the priorities were fairness to both teams, high framerates and readable fights, and the map went through more than fifty builds of gameplay tweaks — about two months of work, though the base brushwork took only days. It debuted at the 2001 CPL event in Dallas and was used in CPL Counter-Strike contests worldwide. All 75 textures are compiled into the .bsp; geometry is 6332 faces in 4608 × 4608 × 1312 units, next to de_dust2 at 5383. The archive installs the .bsp, the trainyard skybox, the wind ambience, the chicken model and a .res file.
