Description

A Mediterranean village of terracotta roofs and cobbled lanes, rebuilt from the newer games. One shot looks down a street of whitewashed houses with iron balconies, a stone cross on a pedestal at the corner and a covered market stall of brick piers ahead. Another crosses a courtyard paved in worn brick, with an octagonal fountain basin in the middle and crates of bottles stacked against the walls, a bombsite ring painted on the stone beside it. A third climbs over tiled roofs towards a church with an arcaded gallery, and the last faces a small building set between two arcades, its gable carrying stencilled letters and arrows towards both sites. Green hills close the horizon under a light sky.

The village occupies 5456 × 5200 × 1344 map units and holds 20,829 faces on 156 textures, 126 embedded in the bsp and the rest from halflife.wad. That is more than twice the geometry of cs_italy with its 8,528 faces, on fewer textures. Sixteen spawns a side make 32 players; there are two bomb sites, no hostages and buy zones for both teams. Things to interact with include 11 breakable objects, three rotating ones, a ladder and a func_water brush, with 84 illusionary brushes and five sprite props for scenery, five ambient sound sources and a fog entity. The archive contains the map and nothing else.
