A small farmyard under a heavy overcast, with dark mountain silhouettes behind the walls. The yard is bare packed earth, edged by tall clipped hedges, and the buildings are simple blocks of grey and yellow brick with plank roofs and red steel ladders bolted to the walls; red shipping containers, wooden crates and a doghouse sit along the edges, and a plastic greenhouse tunnel covers a few rows of green plants. Three more frames go indoors, where the light is very low: a room with a red tiled floor, a wooden table and a skylight throwing the only bright patch onto white tiled walls; a dark hall with a black and white chequered floor and wooden doors; and a stair landing in near-darkness.

The map measures 1776 × 2000 × 768 units, which is compact by the standards of the engine, and is built from 1,713 faces and 57 textures, none of them packed into the .bsp; for scale, de_dust2 is 5,383 faces and 44 textures. Sixteen spawns per side seat 32 players, since the engine puts one player on each spawn point, and both teams have their own buy zones. Despite the name, the map carries no hostages, no rescue zones and no bomb sites: there is no objective to play for, and one entity hands players a weapon when they spawn. Of the 261 entities, the parts that move are six breakable objects, three ladders and one pushable crate. The map declares no sky of its own and there is no water.
