Description

A bare city block shot from above at night. Two streets cross between four buildings: plain brick and stone houses with tiled gable roofs and rows of dark windows, one of them a long block with a glazed ground floor. In the middle of the wide street a concrete ramp climbs to a raised platform, a strip of grass and a wooden fence beside it, and dark towers with lit windows stand along the horizon. The last frame looks straight down and lays out the whole plan: two paved courtyards on either side of a cross of streets, closed in by roofs on all sides. Despite the name, the layout keeps nothing of the assault warehouse.

The map spans 5004 × 5808 × 768 units, wider than the original cs_assault at 4000 × 4288 × 1216 but far lower: nothing here rises above a few storeys. It is also stripped down to almost nothing: 3,754 faces on 35 textures and 38 entities in the whole map, against 3,206 faces on 182 textures in the stock version, and there are only 2 ladders and 2 see-through decorative brushes to touch. Both sides get 16 spawn points, so 32 players can start. Despite the cs_ prefix, there are no hostages and no rescue zones, and no bomb sites either; buy zones are on auto, so the engine places them at the spawns. The sky is the city1 set and there is no water. The archive holds the .bsp alone.
