Description
An apartment block shown from the inside. The stairwell is bare cinderblock with red painted railings and a lamp in a grille under the landing; the flats have papered walls above wooden wainscoting, panelled doors and a green checked lino, with a kitchen visible through the far doorway. One frame runs down a corridor past lift doors to a wooden door at the end, another stands in the lobby, where the floor is black and white checkerboard, a reception counter carries an old television set and glass doors open onto the street. Outside it is night: a narrow service alley squeezes between the block and a taller building with every window lit, a fire escape ladder bolted to the wall, a dumpster and a floodlight over a hatch.
The building measures 1536 × 1472 × 1024 map units, a small footprint carried upwards, which is what stacking floors costs. Twelve counter-terrorist spawns and thirteen terrorist ones seat 25 players. Four hostages and one rescue zone set the round; there are no bomb sites, and both sides have buy zones of their own. Geometry comes to 3,267 faces and 109 textures, close to the 3,206 faces of cs_assault with fewer textures on them. Three climbable ladders are placed around the block, and the archive carries the map alone.
