Description
A rectangular pit of pale sandstone filled with wooden crates. The walls are dressed block with a moulded cornice, the floor is packed sand, and the crates stand in a loose grid: grey weathered boxes over most of the area and a knot of darker brown ones in the middle, where the two sides meet. One shot looks along the crate rows at eye level, another takes the pit from outside over the top of the wall, and a third looks down on the whole grid at once. Beyond the wall are bare desert hills under daylight. There is nothing else in the map: the crates are the cover, the corridors between them are the routes.
The map measures 1428 × 2050 × 512 units, a small box even by the standards of this kind of arena. 15 counter-terrorist and 15 terrorist spawns seat 30 players in it. There are no bomb sites, hostages or rescue zones, and the map has no buy zones of its own, so the engine places them at the spawns; nothing lies on the floor either, since a single game_player_equip hands out the weapons at the round start. Geometry is 1,043 faces and 8 textures, six of them packed into the .bsp, against 5,383 faces for de_dust2. The sky is the desert set and there is no water. The archive also installs a radar overview.
