Now that we have all been duped into paying for the privillage of BETA testing the RC, it's about time Valve got their fat chubby fingers away from counting the ca$h, and start fixing some of the code in this game!!!!
ppfff
:(
EDIT: it's some error in the hl2 .gcf files. thanks a fucking lot.
looks like i get to erase my preload and download it again tomorrow...
Well a fool and his money are easily parted. Enjoy your bug fest!
I want a refund!
See, guys, there's more to releasing content than just "Click, upload, whoop-dee-doo, new models!"
-There's the possibility of legal troubles from Vivendi.
-There's the fact that they may be other MORE IMPORTANT problems in CS Source, at least in Valve's opinion, as they may create a weak point in the app. I believe that buffer overflows may crash a server.
And don't bitch about lagginess. It isn't source, it's the server. The server handles all the load, from stats to the physics. It's the server that isn't too great, not the game.
OMG LL GIMME MODELLS OMG OMG !!! HAHAHA SZZ! !`CFUCX TEH HACKER ISSUZ~!!! GIVEM E SMONEY!
happy fucking birthday
We're also working on one original map, which will begin internal playtesting this week. This still means we have a fair amount of work to do on it.
We're also working on two updated player models.
Most of this is scheduled to be released in the December timeframe.

Btw, for those of you complaining about not being able to hit the models properly, cl_interp 0, cl_interpolate 0 seems to fix some of the "my targets' models aren't lining up with their hitboxes" issues for me. Little jumpy, but at least I'm not shooting at thin air unknowingly now :). And I look forward to the interpolation working a little better in the future (or at least giving the client more weight than it is now).

Also, I would like to see the recoil reworked to be less random and more like 1.6, which is highly controllable with experience. Still, the reliability of hit detection should be given some serious attention.
You said something stupid, and now I'm irritated. I want my comfort back, you jerk.
Hehe it was even more funnier when I read an interview with Doug Lombardi, the part where he said there is no HL2 DM planned.
LOL that was a knee slapper. Whew, thank god that just a rumor
IN PLAIN ENGLISH: HEY BUDDY..CS:S IS THE ONLY COMPONENT TO HL2'S MULTIPLAYER. LOL A BONUS? ROFL..WHAT A TYPICAL FAN BOY.
BTW, if whining is no good at all, how come whining about whining makes you cool? :)
