The first optimized title will be Battlefield 4, with later releases of Need for Speed Rivals, Mirror's Edge 2, and the rest to all feature the same exclusive optimizations for AMD GPUs and CPUs. While Nvidia cards will be supported, the drivers from Nvidia will not be updated until after the games are released instead of before as will be the case with AMD.
I say that because it's an almost certainty that there will be plenty more to follow, especially if this ends up being a success.

So, what is Wicked Paradise? Well, it's being billed as a "virtual reality erotic adventure" designed for the Rift.
He says that Microsoft is "over-delivering on value." Well, I'm sure the full quote will be just as amazing as that snippet.

"It's a lower number than some of the analysts had forecasted," Mattrick said. "We're over-delivering value against other choices, I think, consumers can get. Any modern product these days,

PlayStation Plus Not Required for PlanetSide 2 or DC Universe Online for PS4

Sony confirmed that neither PlanetSide 2 nor DC Universe Online will require a PlayStation Plus subscription when the free-to-play titles launch on the PlayStation 4 later this year.

While PlayStation Plus is required for most retail games on the PS4, this policy will not apply to F2P titles appearing on the console.

"As far as free-to-play games are concerned, it's a publisher's decision whether they put it inside or outside of the PlayStation Plus requirements," Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida said.

First-party Xbox One and PlayStation 4 Games to Stay at $60

The good news it that first-party titles for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 will stay at $60. The bad news is that game prices will stay at $60 and third-party publishers will still be able to decide their own prices. Ah well, nothing has changed there at least.

Representatives from both Sony and Microsoft <del>entered the Thunderdome</del> said that games from their gaming studios will stick to the norm.

"I can confirm that Microsoft Studios games on Xbox One will be $59.99 (MSRP)," a company representative from Microsoft said.
Dota 2 Releasing This Summer, Prior to The International 2013

The release date for Dota 2 was revealed in the latest issue (Issue 254) of PC Gamer. In their huge Dota 2 blowout story, it was revealed that the game will leave beta and enter into the big, scary world of a final release this Summer.

To narrow it down a bit further, it is said that the release will happen prior to The International 2013, which is being held this August. The International, for those of you not familiar, is Valve's now yearly Dota 2 tournament that brings together the best Dota teams from all around the world for a shot at a really, massively huge prize pool.

Which, thanks to the sale of the <a href="http://totalgamingnetwork.com/content.php?1320-Valve-Offering-10-Dota-2-Interactive-Compendium-for-The-International-2013"

Battlefield 4 Alpha Begins Today and You Aren't Invited

And neither am I. Yes, the "Alpha Trial" phase of Battlefield 4 officially kicks off today and will run for two weeks. Players can test each day from 9:00 AM (PDT) to 3:00 PM (PDT).

Apparently, people were selected who were "highly dedicated Battlefield player(s)." Weird. It also had a lot to do with whether or not you signed up for the Battlefield newsletter. So if you're someone who doesn't like to be spammed, you're probably SOL when it comes to this alpha.

The invite says that there are a ton of things still unfinished in the game and most areas will be "white-boxed" and not include most level textures. It also states that those in the

PSA: The War Z is 75% Off This Weekend on Steam

The War Z, not to be confused with the game that's actually good, DayZ, has a 75% off sale this weekend on Steam.

You too can bash a Zeds head in repeatedly until they finally die 10 minutes later only to then be killed by a human enemy five seconds later. The 75% off sale ends on Monday. The 75% off sale means you can get The War Z for just $3.74 (USD), which is still probably too expensive for most people looking for a good open world zombie survival title.<br
